Thrift Store Find

Thanks for the awesome suggestions for the cool Alexander Henry fabric.  I think I'll do the sewing machine cover, and a mini-canvas to start.  I also liked the notebook cover idea.  You guys are the best!

Here's the quilt I discussed on Episode 38 of the podcast.  I couldn't believe someone would donate this to a thrift store - a pieced top, with batting and backing. I "rescued" it for $2.50.  It's really lovely!

  3. So pretty. Love the design.

I had a similar experience. Mine was a 2' square Hawaiian-style applique quilt. All of it was done by hand and someone gave it to a thrift store. Lucky me bought it for $.25. It is the main display on my quilt rack.
