Whole Lotta Quilting Going On...

Thanks for the suggestions - decided to quilt this one with circles and squares.

I think it turned out pretty well; although, after washing I had to zig zag around the circles, as the initial straight sewing was unraveling.

For the back, I used a vintage sheet - like how this photo shows off the stitching.

Check back soon for a new podcast, a giveaway, and something else new that I'm working on.  Here's a sneak peak:

Hey Jean...thanks for showing me this its adorable! The edges look like they will unravel but they shouldn't (hopefully) because its cut on the bias....at least that's what someone who knows what they're doing told me! :) I've washed mine a few times since and I haven't had any more unraveling since the first wash. Anyways....Love the quilt...and love the cute little house down below (I had the same one!)

Just found your blog and I love it! The banner is so colorful, it makes me want to quit my job, go home and quilt. I love the knitted cupcakes. Is there a pattern for them? I'd love to make some for gifts. If there is a pattern, would you please let me know where I could purchase it? You can reach me at bevwalks(at)aol(dot)com. I've save your blog and I'll be back to see what it's all about when I get home. Unfortunately, now I HAVE to get back to work.
