Bonnie's so right about how these scrappy projects are full of sentiment. I love all the memories these scraps have - many are from my mom's fabric stash, some from my sister's, some vintage sheets, and bits from other projects.
The wonkiness is pretty awesome, too!

I really loved your podcast episode about taking Bonnie's class. I've loved her site for years and I think the leader/ender concept is a super way to build up patched blocks effortlessly. This has come in handy for me more than a few times when I've needed to whip up an "emergency quilt" at the last minute!

ReplyDeleteI heard Bonnie on a podcast and I often sew pieces for other projects to keep the chain piecing process going. You do need to be able to keep track of a few projects at a time.
