The hubs and I are spending most of Memorial Day weekend in New York City. So excited! 2 things on our agenda for sure: Lunch at the Carnegie Deli (a must!) and a visit to Museum of Modern Art.
It's also Fleet Week, so that should be fun! We plan to visit the ships and take in a concert or two.
We'll be staying in Manhattan most of the time. Please leave comments below of any suggestions for your favorite things to do in NYC.

lunch or dinner at Sarafinas (up across the street from Letterman's theater on Broadway I believe) our favorite NYC eating spot. And the NBC tour is fun if you have time (you might need reservations in advance)
Can't go wrong with the carnegie or stage deli. How do you get to carnegie hall? Practice, practice, practice!
Have a great time! I have always wanted to hit the fabric district. One of these days,,,,you could check out shop City Quilter and gallery.
Take a free ride on the Staten Island Ferry. It goes right pass the Statue of Liberty. Ride to Staten Island, get off, and ride back.
A walk across the Broooklyn Bridge is also lovely (and free).
You will love the Museum of Modern Art. Be sure to see Van Gogh's Starry Night.
Have a great time!

I second walking across the Brooklyn Bridge. Also check out the High Line park, the library, Grand Central Terminal. You might be able to catch a free walking tour of GCT. Central Park, the Apple store near the park, just fun to see it. The garment district and M&J (I think) trimmings...button heaven.
The frozen yogurt at 13 Karats in Bloomingdales is delicious!! Have fun and explore some fabric, quilting and button shops :) Photos please!
Try the Starlight Diner in Times Square for a fun meal - the waiters and waitresses are actors-in-training and perform for you!
I'm too late - but Tinsel trading is my favorite..
