Round and Round

I've been making lots of dishcloths these days. Crocheting them is so much faster than knitting - can't believe it took me this long to figure that out :) Love them - I really have cut down on paper towels purcahses! They're so pretty and fun, I almost don't mind cleaning when I'm using them...almost.

Patterns from Ravelry. Last one is my favorite, called Squaring the Spiral, is also available on Etsy - only $2!

Crochet, on!Posted by Picasa

Hello: Thanks for your podcast! and blog too. It is very inspiring. I am a quilter and listen in the car on the way to work. Makes me feel in the crafty world even when I can't be sewing. With your podcast, and my other favorites -- Within a Quarter Inch, Quilting Stash and Sew Stitch Create there is usually always an episode ready to download. Keep up the great work, Ann in Texas

Hello: Wonderful podcast to listen to at work. Really makes my day at work speed along. Especially enjoyed your trip to Lancaster so much that I am planning on visiting this summer on my way to Washington DC. Keep up the wonderful work, Bridget in Ohio

Hi there! I really enjoy your podcast, and was happy to see you have a 201. I just started my podcast dedicated to vintage sewing machines and quilt history. Podcast one is out (www.wholelottasinger.wordpress.com) and I was wondering if you would mind mentioning it and playing my promo on your show. I really hope you caught the bug on those vintage babies. The 201 is just the beginning I tell you. FYI electrified machines were available even before 1900's for industry. A lot o people did not have electricity available immediately, but I've seen adds for domestic electrified machines as early 1903!
