The mission of the QOV Foundation is to cover ALL those servicemembers and veterans touched by war with Wartime Quilts called Quilts of Valor (QOVs).

The Alzheimer’s Art Quilt Initiative

"Alzheimer's: Forgetting Piece by Piece" is an exhibit of 52 extraordinary art quilts about Alzheimer's disease that is traveling throughout the United States October 2010. A computer CD with photographs of all the quilts in the exhibit narrated by the artists and a 112-page full color book are available for sale at all venues hosting the exhibit and on this web site. All profit from the sale of the CD and book is used to fund Alzheimer's research.

Priority: Alzheimer's Quilt project
Donations of completed quilts for Priority: Alzheimer's Quilt project will be accepted at any time. Any quilt measuring 9" x 12" or less is welcome. (Fits in a flat priority mail envelope)

Quilts need not be about Alzheimer's, but they may be. Any technique, any theme, any colors, any skill level are welcome. Each quilt will get its own web page and the money the quilt raises for Alzheimer's Art Quilt Initiative will be posted there. All profit is used to fund Alzheimer's research.

Auctions are held the first 10 days of each month.

I have been listening to your podcasts and I love them. I find them very inspirational. I love both quilting and knitting so the podcasts are so informative for me. You are so amazing with the amount of projects you do and complete!! I look for ward to hearing more. Kathy
