Crazy Love

Here's the sampler I made in the Bonnie K. Hunter class with my guild.  I loved the fast-paced nature of the class.  We learned the basic crumb block, maverick star, heart, and letters.

Bonnie's so right about how these scrappy projects are full of sentiment.   I love all the memories these scraps have - many are from my mom's fabric stash, some from my sister's, some vintage sheets, and bits from other projects.

The wonkiness is pretty awesome, too!

It's darling!

I love to read Bonnie's blog. She has such great ideas. I hope I get a chance to take a class from her someday. I'll bet her classes are fun.

I really loved your podcast episode about taking Bonnie's class. I've loved her site for years and I think the leader/ender concept is a super way to build up patched blocks effortlessly. This has come in handy for me more than a few times when I've needed to whip up an "emergency quilt" at the last minute!

I love Bonnie's blog. I am so jealous you got to take a class from her. That would have been really fun!

I heard Bonnie on a podcast and I often sew pieces for other projects to keep the chain piecing process going. You do need to be able to keep track of a few projects at a time.
