Bernina's Bernette Machine

Isn't this the cutest little Bernina? I saw it at the AQS show selling for only $99!

I love how it's black with a design like the vintage machines - smart marketing there!  It would probably be great as a machine to take to classes or retreats.   Or, as a first machine for a new quilter/crafter.  It has 8 different stitches, including a buttonhole - not a bad deal.

Anyone have this machine?  What do you think of it?

It may be the only Bernina I could ever afford!   Click here for the brochure.

How cute! I love my full sized Bernina, but if this is as good a machine as the large ones, it would be great for classes! (or granddaughters!)

I saw this in two different places at a quilt show this weekend. It's really cute! I think they were raffling one off.

That would be a great machine for my 6-year-old to learn on. She's just about ready for her own machine.
