Chicken Wire Ideas

I recently created a "empty" wired frame for my studio for displaying ideas, vintage goodies, etc.  However, I wasn't loving it.  Too random, too much white space, too cluttered.

Then, I saw this one below on Allison's Cluck Cluck Sew blog, and realized what it was missing - Chicken Wire!  I'm going to re-do mine, and I'll post the new version when complete.

So, now I own a roll of chicken wire and want to find new ideas for using it (without having to purchase live chickens, of course).

UCreate has an awesome tutorial for making this chicken wire basket from a lamp shade.  It's a guest post from Calli at Make It Do, who I now LOVE.

Have you seen any super cool crafty projects using Chicken Wire lately?  If so, please add a link in the comments.

Also, thanks for all the great cilantro recipe ideas - I've already made Tamara's salsa recipe, and it was well-received at my niece's graduation party.  I've bookmarked the rest, and I'm excited to add them to my line up.

Can't wait to see the finished project! I bought a blue chippy window today for $2 at a thrift store and I'm going to back it with chicken wire. Home Depot here I come!

I LOVE these ideas! Chicken wire is so cozy and homey to me for some reason. Glad I'm not alone!

I love that idea! Too bad all of my chicken wire has chickeny stuff on it. :-)
