Review: Chesapeake Poncho Kit by Morehouse Farm

I recently had the chance to test drive a Knitting Kit with a pattern and yarn from Morehouse Farm.  Being a Maryland girl, I of course chose the Chesapeake Poncho.

Here's how far I've gotten to date:

I really love the Chesapeake Poncho pattern, and I can't wait to finish my poncho so I can snuggle up in it this fall and winter.  I'm also planning to cast on another one as soon as this is finished to make a poncho as a gift.  The pattern is easy enough to do while watching TV, etc., but challenging enough to keep you interested.  And the yarn is amazing!  So super soft and lovely to work with.

If you love unique knitting, check out the Morehouse Farm site - another favorite of mine is the pink poodle scarf.
