Episode 36 Show Notes: Vintage Crafting and Collecting

Here's my start of the zipper tapestry - lots more to go.

Here are a few pics from the vintage craft books.  Lest you think I'm the kinda gal that would make Swingin' Richard, I only offer these as examples of Kitsch.

This clown, like all clowns, freaks me out:

Jean,

I especially enjoyed this podcast. I think you and I are kindred spirits only I have to live vicariously through you. My husband hates clutter. Now, don't get me wrong, I'm NOT calling your wonderful findings clutter!!!!! I think they are wonderful finds. He just snubs his nose at what I think are prized posessions! Anyway, I did love this podcast and I love seeing all the stuff you got. If I ever make it to PA will you take me to Lancaster? That is actually one of the items on my bucket list. I love the Amish culture.

If you ever run out of show topics, would you do one on Flicker? Flicker has passed me by...I don't get it. I hate to admit it. I thought Flicker was a place to post pictures but it seems like all you smart podcasters are talking about 'groups' and meeting people over there. I don't get it!

Thanks Jean...

Really enjoyed this podcast, because I too love my "junk."

Wait, that sounded dirty -- you know what I mean, right?

Clowns are creepy though. ::::shudder::::

I went on a scrapbooking retreat back in the day and there was this mean old lady there -- I mean uber cranky. Turns out she was a clown!!!
