Art's Where You Find It

Took this cool picture at the car wash.  I loved the pretty colors of soap on the windshield.  I know that may seem odd to some, but that's just the way I am.

BTW, here's a place to find art this coming Monday-- My buddy (and partner) Allison Rosen will be on Pat Sloan's Radio show on 1/17, 4 p.m.,  talking about SeamedUP.  Have a listen live, or go back and listen afterwards!

how pretty are those soap suds? its amazing when you take a look around (or something catches your eye) and you realize that there are literally hundreds of random, every day things like this that go unnoticed, until someone finds one and snaps a picture!

this makes me want to go get my car washed. i could probably write my name in the dust!

That's pretty neat. I had to look at it for a while to see what it was. It sort of looks like clouds during a sunset...you know how they speed up the motion on TV sometimes? That's what it reminded me of.

I have always loved how that looks! I thought I was the only one, but it's good to find another kindred spirit out in the quilting world. Plus it smells great too!

Those soap suds remind me of a batik that I have on my wish list at Equilter.com !!! I even look at oil spots in mud puddles just to watch the swirling effect :)
