New podcast episode (Episode 46: This And That) has been posted. I promise it's not too gruesome, even though it felt like I'd be telling you a story that ended with my hand looking like this:
I will listen, but I guess I know what's coming. I just noticed the headliner for the first time (I am remarkabley dense sometimes) and really like it.
In listening to your podcast about the structure of bags, I wanted to recommend that you make one of Amy Butler's bags that uses fusible fleece such as the Sweet Harmony bag. This is not a pattern for the faint of heart, nor is it easy, but I learned a lot about the structure of a bag, how to make it stiff and elegant.
Jean, I finally caught up with your podcast! So sorry to hear about the rotary cutter "mishap" and hope you're healing well. I wanted to share that I've been a fan of Shabby Chic decor for a looong time. I even visited Rachel Ashwell's store in LA like a groupie many years ago, LOL. Not sure if it's still popular on eBay but I remember about 10 years ago when it seemed everything was being listed as "Shabby Chic" - even stuff that very obviously wasn't! Anyways, some of my favorite sites for SC inspiration is dreamywhites.blogpsot.com, home-shabby-home.blogspot.com, blog.lobsterandswan.com, burlapandblue.com, freckledlaundry.com, and of course Rachel's blog: rachelashwellshabbychic.blogspot.com

Jean, how about using a Sharpie (i.e., alcohol-based marker) to color your Princess phone cord? Julie Filatoff
