The Good, the Bad and the Binding...

This is the "Short Stack" quilt I made for Project Night Night Quilt Challenge.

Good parts: I'm very happy with the quilting and the binding on this one, and it will keep someone warm.  Bad parts: not happy with the scrappy look.  If I were going to use that pattern again, I'd keep all the fabrics from the same line, or at least the same color family.

Here's a close-up of the binding - isn't it lovely?  I used the YouTube video discussed on Podcast Episode 39, and it may just be my best bound quilt yet!  And, it was all done on the machine - bonus.

The other thing I had to show everyone is the back of this one - how cool does that circle free motion quilting look?  This is the anti-pill fleece on the back, and I was so pleased with how nice it looks.  Haven't washed it yet, but I'm thinking that shouldn't matter.

Remember, anyone who's working on a quilt for the Project Night Night Challenge, I'd like to receive them by next week.  If you need a few extra days, just let me know.

Jean your free motion circles look terrific. Seeing all these things you do is great motivation, just need to get me free time to fit everything in. Vanessa (Aust)
